Even my wife got convinced of the Skoda Superb (she's the driver) after we went around looking at practically everthing from Japanese marques, German ones (mostly VAG stable), American ones (although admittedly they are made in various Asian countries). When I told her how good the Octy was, she gave me a blank stare and asked, "Skoda? You must be crazy!" After trying the Octy and then the Superb, well, the Superb it was! Fabulous vehicle, couldn't ask for more!

 

Separately, I heard that the Superb can be chipped much as the Octy and Fabia can too. Any advice?

Well, yes you are right. Your ride can be reflash to Stage 1 which is about 193hp. Furthermore, with this upgrade. Your warranty is valid dude ...

 

You can always look for Dennis at Servotronic Motor Workshop which is located at Sin Ming Autocare, #02-14/15 for the upgrade ...

Thanks bros Lightspeed and Skodarr! Just curious, after flashing, would the extra BHP make it more difficult for handling, i.e. cornering, turning, parking, etc? Newbie question, dun mind me. After all, wife is driving, so must be careful lor.

Handling will be the similar to the stock just except that your wife need to control her right foot ...

 

As the horsepower has increase after the upgrade whereby the horsepower is 193 and Torque will be 280Nm, normally drivers will then to whack even more ...

The sports rim which comes with the deluxe package, who is it made by and what is the "per rim only" weight? Is it worth to change it to a lighter performance one?
