Evildoer Neutral Newbie April 8, 2006 Share April 8, 2006 (edited) the Sylphy $71,500 is too pricey for the 1.5litre model... to me still poor design from nissan-renault alliance... civic still rocks... but agreed the interior is pure class... all wooden finished... does not appeal to younger generation for 1.5litre... 71500 for a 1.5l??? hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ahahhahahahahahahahaahahhahahaahahhahaahhahaha not even Beyonce Sing can save this car, much less belinda Edited April 8, 2006 by Evildoer

Dlar2 Neutral Newbie April 9, 2006 Share April 9, 2006 Hidid u say 83K for de Sylhilis?.oops..sori...typo. IF its 83K..I wud go straight for a manual FD Civic.. FC low or not...bekoz de Nissan CVT sucks... Heck.i might throw in a little more n go for a REX or Skoda Superb..which is arnd tat price range..and I don't think Syphy is anymore high tech than de Civic. I know FC is important but sumtimes nothing beats a good driving pleasure... 83K for that?!! what is TanCHong thinking?.. for the price of more than 80k, why no one mention Legacy R?? It has higher BHP and also AWD.

Blacklancer Neutral Newbie April 9, 2006 Share April 9, 2006 (edited) Just test drive the nissan. sylphy, this is my unbaised review. In terms of look it family vs sportiness. Nissan is more family, design is more classy than urgly. It has loads of feature keyless entry, revease sensor LCD, built in LCD for vcd, auto head lights/rain sensors, remote boot release, electronic seats (2 memory). This department nissan wins head down. Engine, torque is similar @ 191Nm, power losse to Honda. Honda is 5speed nissan is CVT. I tested Honda, ,much better progressive pickup than Nissan. Price wise Honda is slightly cheaper cos higher OMV 24k compare to Nissan 21k. Interior Nissan is much better, sofa seats, classy roomy & lots of space for rear. So for me, it's really difficult which one to choose. Nissan seems to be a better choice. Price should drop after some time !! FYI I'm driving a ES5 honda, honda cup corner much better, but now I also old liao , prefer more classy roomy type.
