Brock 1st Gear April 28, 2006 Author Share April 28, 2006 Thanks for your info. I still have another 2 years to go before inspection. Not greater than 4000k huh? That would mean that even CrystalVision is out since it's rated 4300k. ↡ Advertisement

Garlic 1st Gear April 28, 2006 Share April 28, 2006 (edited) You might want to drop LTA an email @ http://talk2lta.lta.gov.sg/AskLTAContentCo....CreateFeedback to confirm. If I'm not wrong, BlueVision is LTA approved. Edited April 28, 2006 by Garlic

Brock 1st Gear May 11, 2006 Author Share May 11, 2006 Ok. I've got the official reply from LTA. DiamondVision Ultimate Blue 5000k is non-compliant thus considered an illegal mod. I'll probably go for either BlueVision or VisionPlus then. Thanks to all for your feedback.

Brock 1st Gear May 14, 2006 Author Share May 14, 2006 Gary, Thanks for the info. I've decided to remain LTA compliant. I'll just stick to my existing DV and before inspection, change the bulbs back to stock then switch back again.
Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear May 14, 2006 Share May 14, 2006 Crystal Vision is LTA compliant. Philips have the letter of approval. Don't worry about the 4300K spec.

My last car had DV as the low beam and passed. My present car have HID low beams, which I installed at outside workshop, and DV high beams, still passed. I asked the mechanic and he said 19 out of 20 cars will fail the headlight test. Very common. What they catch is HID conversions without projector lens. Mine is original OEM for my car (the whole assembly including the high beam and signal, not just the bulb), so maybe that's why it's ok. I would say just go for it of you like DV's. Afterall, swapping back the original is a 5-min DIY job. Edited May 14, 2006 by Chickenbackside
Brock 1st Gear May 14, 2006 Author Share May 14, 2006 Thanks for your sharing of experiences. Informative I must say. I think stock HID would surely pass.
Brock 1st Gear May 14, 2006 Author Share May 14, 2006 Really (read:surprised)? That's informative to us users. Then why put a cap at 4000k? Strange...
