Ok, Phase 1 is complete. Here's the review:

Shocks : Tokico Gas Shocks

Springs: Apex Sport Suspension Spring

Went to Sabre last Saturday with eager anticipation of installing the above mentioned. The black shocks and yellow springs looked sweet when assembled (Pics will be out midweek). Jacked up Satine as usual and the mounting commenced. I must say i had envisioned it to be lower than expected but if I want a 'slam-dunk' 1 finger gap, I would need to get height adjustable shocks. That would be another project for another time. Now my ride sits well and lower than with the stock springs. Front : 2 finger gap , Rear : 3 finger gap. Got alignment and camber done.

Test driving was very enjoyable, especiallly with my new Bridgestone G3s! Grip is excellent. Progressive springs as great; lower profile , stability AND comfort. There's less roll now on corners. Overall, even though my konis were stiffer, I am enjoying the comfort of the Apex springs and Tokico gas shocks. All i need now is a front strut. Well worth the money spent and my Fiancee is enjoying the comfort as well. [thumbsup]

Not any more. Turns out the sound was coming from my rotor dust cover. After a few knocks, Saber managed to sort it out. Oh btw, I love the way mechanics drive cars!

there was someone in STS de-kitting his ride. don't know if still available.

Previously I was using Koni sport; the ride was stiffer. Koni does make good shocks.
