Mzrmazda3 6th Gear June 14, 2006 Share June 14, 2006 I use the quick detailer and spray at the birdie bombs before using a wet tissue to remove it Don't ever rub hard on the birdie bombs cause it will result in more scratches on your paintwork
Mroonws Clutched June 14, 2006 Share June 14, 2006 Bird Droppings are like poisons. They will Bite into the paint leaving some stains that are very difficult to remove. Best wipe off Immediately after you sees it.
Irene Neutral Newbie June 14, 2006 Author Share June 14, 2006 Problem is i waited for few days before i decided to clean it. By the time no wet tissue or cleaner can work. Still left some patches of stain. How huh? I already damaged a little of my paint. Heartpain. Dun wish to further damage anything. Whitish coloured ones are easier to remove. What i meant is those dark coloured ones.

Mroonws Clutched June 14, 2006 Share June 14, 2006 Guess it can't be heal or maybe it takes a few polish to remove it. For me, maybe its an old paint. It will be gone after a few washes and polish. Or maybe i forgot where it is or it can't be noticed already. Don't worry, it may be poisonous but its not cancer...
Shiwao Clutched June 14, 2006 Share June 14, 2006 if u kanna another round, touch wood!, use the kiddy tissues that can be found in some housebrands stores like aunty lucy, to wipe the stain off before it dries. but however if it has since dried up, fret not, go to the nearest washing station and ask the guy to blast it away and wash at the same time. damage? $6. But it's an overkill of you are only 1 or 2 bird crap. I sent my car for a rinse when my car was coated with bird stains one morning. if the stain persists, then, try to wax it out. I've tried either of the ways, works for me.

Mzrmazda3 6th Gear June 14, 2006 Share June 14, 2006 Sis, the stain can be removed by applying some polish using a microfibre cloth and rub it all over & over again This would need some elbow grease
Irene Neutral Newbie June 14, 2006 Author Share June 14, 2006 (edited) Just wondering... can i buy those cans of diluted acid to remove the scratches caused by the droppings. I know its not good for the paint but a little doesnt matter too much right? I think these are common probs.. but l'm just too lazy to do a search. I did use try to polish it away but the black stain seems to eat into the paint already. If i still use whatever cloth to rub on the surface, more damage will be done. Aiya... end of day, a few scratches wont die. l'll just leave it. Maybe l'll take some pics and post tomorrow. Edited June 14, 2006 by Irene
