Elfenstar 3rd Gear June 20, 2006 Share June 20, 2006 v.noisy apparantly, but very good grip. Lots of competitors in the targa tasmania tarmac rally use those in the street car class.

Fisheye Neutral Newbie June 20, 2006 Share June 20, 2006 Had it for 2 years in my previous ride...Really good grip in the dry...gives you lots of confidence in corners. In the wet tend to aquaplane at around 100kmh...not too bad. Towards 30k tend to get a bit vocal(noisy) otherwise value for money.

Abba Neutral Newbie October 13, 2006 Share October 13, 2006 the 595 is the replacement for the ss595. They've improved the compound and they've come out with 2 new 595's the evo and RS. http://www.federaltire.com/en/html/product...?DB=motosports# 595RS is much improved over the SS595, stiffer sidewall, better dry grip & handling, better lateral wet grip, better braking, quitier. Down side is lower longitidunal aquaplaning resistance, prob due to less grooves compared to SS595. Very happy with the tyres.
