Clarkewan Neutral Newbie July 11, 2006 Share July 11, 2006 You may want to consider getting this type... i got one fitted into my van, and of course there are alot of my frens and relatives using this one too.... very accurate and almost never fail..... :D it comes with 2 sensors for the rear and a display unit to tell you distance and also comes out sound.... the display shows 2 LED lights which will blink (left side and right side) so you got to see where the LED lights blink... when it is blinking on the left, the LED on the left will blink and on the right, it blinks on the right... if centre, it will blink left and right.... and also distance shows in Meters... it looks like this.... Huggable Clutched July 11, 2006 Share July 11, 2006 Yeah, I could hear a City reversing 3 rows of cars away at Holland V carpark. Wonder if it's to alert the driver or the passer-bys? Anyway if you don't wish to spoil the look of your bumper, you can get Bumpercare reverse sensor. It's a strip installed inside the bumper, no unsightly buttons! Sony 1st Gear July 11, 2006 Share July 11, 2006 Then stick some tape over the speaker. Adjust what how soft/loud you want by the area u cover. Shd lower the volume by a bit.
