Dunlop SP Sports Maxx [thumbsup] Go for it.

I was on Dunlop SP Sports 9000 for 3 complete changeout cycles over ~3 years, before they stopped production.

Then tried BS Re05A - grip not that great and a little bit noisier.

BTW, tried BS GR80 for a short while. Regret. Grip is poor (compared to Dunlop) and noisy tyre roar (compared to Dunlop).

Note: Actually can't compare GR80 with the Maxx, 9000 or RE05A, since the GR80 is in a lower league of tyres (not available in 'W' rating). Just sharing my experience on them.

I'd avoid Yokohmas v v noisy IMHO.

RE-01R is more quiet than what I have expected. If you like hard cornering, this is the tyre for you. Other than RE-070, no other street tyre's sidewall comes close in terms of stiffness.

Bear in mind that stiffer sidewall means more bumpy ride but less likely to be damaged due to impact to the sidewall.

BTW, there's no RE05, only RE-050, RE-050A.

Hi Bro,

Need advise on which performance Tyre has the "lowest Noise". Ya, I know performance does not go hand in hand with quietness. Just choosing quitest of performace. I am driving Mazda5 on 16,60,205.

1) Maxis MA-Z1

2) Michelin Pilot Preceda 2

3) Continental CSC2

4) Hankook V8

5) Re05

6) Sport Max

7) GSGD3

8) Yokohama Advan Sports

Other type to recommend also? Actually top of my list is MA-Z1 but cannot find any feedback from people who has tried them. I just need them to last around 30K as my mileage is low. Pricewise looking at below $200. I believe those in the list should fall into these cat.

pxx xxxg is not always the cheapest.

After getting some quotes, I ended up going to another tyre shop at Paya Ubi Tech Pk, where prices were 15% cheaper, and the tyres were less than 6 months old from date of manufacture.

bro,can i hav the address/shop name/tel.no of the shop??

thankx [;)]

1. RS2

2.S1 Evo

3.Ventus Sport

4.Ventus Prime

5.V8

I think V8 is not for very hard driving but its quite good according to alot of users feedback on the noise n grip

Nexen formal name is woosung n another name is roadstone, its r smallest among the 3 korea producers. n2000 for normal road shld hv no problem its a decent tyre but for hard driving i m not so sure?what i know is that this tyre is abt 15-20% cheaper in korea compare to the 2 other brand.
