Can anyone enlighten me whether the Mark X should be pronounced Mark "X" or Mark 10.

I have seen a Mark VI before so I thought the VI is 6 and not "V" "I" right ?

But many of my frens pronounce as "X". By the way, I have not been to any PIs so cannot confirm with them.

Many Thanks !

If u are toking abt toyota, then there is no Mark VI. The previous model was Mark II. It is an exclusive ride for japan domestic market, JDM only. Mark X is the new upgraded improved version of Mark II. Apparently one of the sucessful model they haf come up with.

Yup yup.Though the X stand for ten but we still call them Mark X not the roman number 10. :)

I am one of the PI too eh. hee

well, they cant satisfy every single individual eh. Anyway main objective of the Birth of MArk II and X is to provide a luxury car which is affordable to their own japanese in the country while selling lexus at a much up market to the foreigners eh. hee. If u really go and compare, Mark X and IS250 not much diff eh. [laugh]

Understand it should be the evolution of the Mark II(two) etc...hence, X is ten, however, many called it X instead of ten, is a matter of choice, regardless who is right or wrong.
