ya i checked with JL Audio, they said the serial number is 100% authentic, but then i gave the serial number on the box one.

That is one of the biggest misunderstandings about car audio. Having high gain does not mean only that can optimise the power of the amp. I can run on low gan but if I drive it hard, I can still push the amp to the max. Gains are to help you match your inputs and outputs, not for you to limit the amount of power coming out of the amp.
