Gnoikj Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Anybody know anything about this dealer? Is it a good deal in your opinion? http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/info-2AENsltS-1094.html ↡ Advertisement
Bsbs Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Get a new one, dun forget still have to pay transfer fee, take risk on the condition of the car (though quite new, but u never know). I think new ones can get below 80K now. Check out the new ones first.

Siemi Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 For this kind of money and for the small (relatively) gap between this one and a new one, I would also say buy new. Then at least you can decide yourself how you want it.
Gnoikj Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Author Share September 7, 2006 Dunno...anything from 3.5 to 4% i guess...

Falc 3rd Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Bad deal ... New only $77-79K. And i think Motor-East sells this model at their new car division also.
Vit4wd 1st Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Cars in S'pore are never a good deal. This price can get you a brand Mercedes Benz E200 elsewhere.
Jusnel 6th Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 if you can bargain minimum $5K lesser than asking price, then its worth to get this. if not, better get new one. nowadays dealers so desperate, squeeze their balls.....
Landex Clutched September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Agreed. But in order to reduce at least 5k, u hav to do tis

Atlantis_boi Clutched September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 If there's warranty, I dont mind buyin it provided the interest amt & asking price is reasonable. If the dep/yr of a 2nd hand car is higher than a new car, I might as well go for a new ride.
Franksg Neutral Newbie September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 VERY GOOD DEAL. FOR A LITTLE OVER 70K TO GET AN ACCORD [/img]http://automobiles.honda.com/images/banners/2007/accord_sedan/exterior_gallery/large1.jpg
Ah_benz Clutched September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 Get a brand new accord bro. its now facelifted and its prices also around that range. you buy secondhand still must pay transfer fee, higher interest rates & maybe admin charges.
Amazon777 3rd Gear September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 (edited) Buy 2nd hand car what's the interest rate like? NTUC is offering the following rates. I think is the lowest for used car as per their website "www.income.coop". Car below 10 yrs: 5.25% pa (effective) Repayment Period (yrs) Yr Flat Rate Mthly Inst Per $10,000 1 2.42% $853.49 2 2.55% $437.92 3 2.61% $299.52 4 2.65% $230.42 5 2.68% $189.03 6 2.71% $161.50 7 2.74% $141.90 Usually 2nd-hand used cars are a good buy, if you buy direct from the car owners, whom usually are realistic and have decided to absorbed the initial huge depreciation. These used car dealers will squeeze the car owners and then sell to potential buyer at a huge marked up. After the new facelifted Accord is available, the pre-facelift model should go even much cheaper than $70K. The dealers or owners whom bought at more than $80K is none of our problem, it is their own judgmental call when they decided to commit at that price, nobody point a pistol at them to commit in the first place.
