En0203 2nd Gear November 17, 2006 Share November 17, 2006 Orh... that's not my comparison actually. Mine goes like this: CX-7 is a sporty SUV. At 100k, it achieved everything it set out to be, with the practicalities of an SUV, cheerful performance and a sassy outlook. MPS6 is a sports-exec. At 10k more than the CX-7, it achieved nothing it set out to be and became an utter complete failure. Hiroshima hadn't seen a tragedy like the MPS6 since the Big Boy. It's too lumpily-manual to be an exec, its too clumsy to be sporty, its like a poor pre-op transexual from the original 6. Reinforcing the chassis by welding more metal and driving a shaft through the body, a bulge on the hood that looks like an "oops" from the artist, a tail that looks like any Mazda6 ricers' wet dream, AND AND AND... what's this? A front-biased AWD and you call that sporty?!? To make it really sporty, Mazda might as well sell it with 10,000 sponsor-stickers as a factory default. why get CX-7 if u can get a RX-8 close to that price?? Panda Neutral Newbie November 18, 2006 Share November 18, 2006 (edited) bro, one is an SUV. Another one is a gay sports-car wannabe who's owners either have no idea what they want, or they want a sports car but are just too sissy to compromise on the practicality, or they really feel they the cheapest (brand-new) high-revving RWD. Santa Neutral Newbie November 18, 2006 Share November 18, 2006 yes the interior is worst than hyundai santa fe 2.7 litres. when u sit at the driver seat overlooking the console - it simply look like 'toy car'. need not test drive further...cause at 100+ k, i suppose is human nature that we cannot live with the plasticky look and feel of the interior. En0203 2nd Gear November 18, 2006 Share November 18, 2006 nope it doesn't look gay at all, it looks classic to me, if u are patient enough to keep it for 20 yrs i am sure it'll still look so sexy 20 yrs later just like the RX-
