Let's do maths!

Vehicle separation at 60km/h is 33m because at that speed, that is the distance covered in 2 seconds.

At 100km/h it is 56m. More than 10 car lengths!

Based on the 2 second rule, everyone in Singapore is tailgating.

[nod]

actually, i dont solely use the gap the car behind me as the only rule for tailgating,

i will use the term "pushing" to gauge is any car tailgating me or not.... normally, those who tailgates wanted to overtake and 100% of the time, they will get so near to the backside of a car ("pushing") thus the gap is so small and any jamming of brake of the front car has very high chance of getting a new bumper....i consider those who "pushes" tailgate....

btw, talk about tailgate, i was "pushed" by a lady driver yesterday and i just dont understand the logics and reasonale behind her push... i just kocked off from work, drive out of the MSCP of a JTC and there's where im being pushed!!!... [laugh] im still inside the JTC area with a slow speed of ~20-30km/h..,... have not even go into the main road already being tailgated!!!... [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Malaysian keep left on the high at all times

signal properly wher they are going

Using signal to help u,tell u if its safe to over take

Most of them gif u time to over take when u r overtaking other car.

Hardly use horns.

Yes ther are a few jokers around. but back here. maybe more jokers [:/][:/]

and speedsters on the road are the most miserable drivers

i sympathetize with them cos they are the most frustrated lot who don't enjoy their driving, they are venting out their frustration speeding on the roads

Hi there,

It that applied.More & more cars will cut into your lane if

u keep the 10 cars rules.

So what is the difference if u caught by TP for tailgates cars in

front of u.Never ending story.send away the cars & take public transport

less stressful. [dead]

I only respect those who speed in a polite manner. [laugh]

First, I will talk abt the reckless ones. These are speedsters who cut into other ppl's lane w/o signal & cause other ppl to brake for them. These just shows lack of judgement & skills.

Better still if they kenna horn or high-beam! Make them feel paiseh, especially in front of passengers they are trying to impress! These drivers might think they are cool & show off these so-called skills, but I, or even others beg to differ. [shakehead]

Now, talk about the good ones. They are the ones who will signal & cut nicely such that the car dun have to brake for them. Only these is considered skilful & deserve respect! [nod]

Saw the stupidest thing tonight on the PIE, a subby TP had his rear light flashing the words, DO NOT TAILGATE, yet he was tailgating every single car in front of him! [hur] Go figure!
