TOKYO

A Japanese court on Wednesday acquitted three former executives of Mitsubishi Motors Corp. in a fatal crash that prosecutors said caused by their coverup of a design flaw, court officials said.

The Yokohama Summary Court also found the company not guilty over a 2002 accident in which a tire fell off a Mitsubishi truck, killing a 29-year-old woman, court official Yuko Ueda said. The victim's two children were also injured.

Sigh! This is old news to me. I've actually come to know about Mitsubishi's "scandals" on foreign car mags and on internet.

The company is filled with cover-up scandals in their pre-year2000 models. They claimed that cover-ups were only on domestic models and not on export models. Yeah right.[sweatdrop]

Japanese themselves avoid Mit cars. That's why u dun see any on their roads. [lipsrsealed]

The expose on cover-up scandals almost caused the company to go Kaput until Daimler Chrysler took over.

Many ppl speculate that their "cover-up culture" existance and there's nothing DC can do much about it. [sweatdrop]

Can do a search using any search engine. Just type Mit scandal.
