First Accident :-(

Kanna kiss backside yesterday bcos of this guy who tried to cut queue furious.gifgoing into the carpark and of course the car behind me didn't allow him. After all, we did queue for a good 10 mins.

In the end, the guy insisted that he'll get his workshop to do the repairs and I went with him. Told my bro-in-law abt the accident and he said I shd have said no and go to my own workshop, get "other things done" and claim that bugger. If he doesn't want, just report the case.

If report the case, will my NCD be affected? Just discovered my new rims were also scratched, can claim him also?

Should I have done what my bro-in-law said? How would you guys have handled the case?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

As long as you have the photos to show that he hit you and not the other way, the case is quite clear cut. The angle of your photo, however looks as if you were the one who was cutting into his lane. Witnesses would be really helpful in this case. I also tio like this before, the car that hit me didn't care because his car was already old and dented, another dent would simply be just that, another dent and nothing more...

Ya, that's what my bro-in-law said and yes I am a newbie as far as accident is concern. Well, he said that as long as I am not at fault, should die, die make him pay and play in my turf. Never, never got to his turf. [smallcry]

Just get it repaired at his workshop and move on.

Just remmeber to check your wheel alignment or get it aligned as your rear wheels has been hit.

I see that only your rear bumper affected - very minor.

Most impt is chasis not affected.

Just accept it as part and parcel of car ownership.

Unauthorised excessive claims will only lead to higher insurance premiums in future for the industry in general.
