Paint will look cheap & doesn't stick well to plastic parts. U can get it cubic printed instead. [;)]

Hi, I juz join 2day. [sunny] If you really wish to paint your panels, you have to sand it down with fine sand pappers 1st. Quality finish of ur workmanship will determine cheap look or not.But be fore warn that once done cannot be undo.

In order for u to change the color, u need to take them out. Most of them are easy to ply out with a flat tip screw driver as they are all clipped on type( pls be gentle not to scratch or cut the panel or it's egde . [angel] Look out for any securing srews juz in case [sly] )

But... [whip] except the air con outlet. Once you hv taken them out, sand it with fine sand papper and clean them thouroughly b/4 spraying them. Apply thin code each time and make sure u apply the next code ONLY when the previous code is dry! [scholar]

Wait until they are totally dry b/4 fixing back the panels or else u will leave ur finger printing on the panel while trying to fit them back. [jawdrop]

BTW, if u happen to hv airbrush [sunny] , the finish will be superd( with skill of course) [pirate] else u can get those normal spray can type. the whole thing shld cost u less than $50. [nod]

[bounce2] good luck [bounce2][bounce2][thumbsup]

[bounce1][bounce2] thks 4 ur warm welcome [inlove] I'll try to make up time to meet u guys. [nod] but I'm recently quite tight on my timing. [crazy] I'll try.

[gossip] No airbrush never mind, it's juz a suggestions. Normal spray can can do the magic. Maybe you might wish to try those hobby kit spray can type, but they r abit ex compare to the normal spray can u find in the "5 gold" shop. [:p]

I shld thanks Andrewkb for introducing me this forum. [sunny][thumbsup][thumbsup]

For a camry, juz do the centre panel to get rid of the tacky fake wood good enuf. No need to do the various other panels - would look a bit out of place otherwise. The centre bit should cost at most $100+ wif cubic print. Dun paint it, will look worse than the wood grain later when it starts peeling wif scratches n stuff. [;)]
