For cars like Altis, Vios, Nissan sunny, Lancer (which people calls them taxi car becos its as common as taxi), its very risky. Becos every day, so many same vehicle go for inspection. They already remember how the cat look like. If you change the cat, they will know.

 

For cars which are more rare like opel, renault its easier, becos they seldom see and inspect such vehicle. You can smoke them say its original.

I tried de-cat on auto ride

Result =

 

Now on high flow cat

Result =

 

Sound slightly louder than stock

Performance definately better than stock

Improvement can be felt from my butt

But dont expect too much from an auto ride

I experience it from my ride

After i lup high flow cat the low end improved and perform better than stock cat

auto or manual.. the engine will work the same.. all depends on your gear ratio..

 

aniwae power lost for straight through wun be veri significant.. but high end gain is..

Agreed with your advise

End of the day engine still work the same, depend on gear ratio also

Problem why many felt low end suffer for auto ride is because there no way we can play clutch

With high flow cat it will be better for the environment

Same goes to preserve some back pressure which help much for low end
