Deckbuild 6th Gear April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 Always happen when merging into high way express way or some main road, there are other cars behind you waiting because of your stupidity. The 3rd lane is long and straight without vehicles, why is there such a need to jump to another lane with so many vehicles at crawling speed? ↡ Advertisement
Lowrider 2nd Gear April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 Second that! Changing lane abruptly without watching traffic behind.... and continuing with slower-than-traffic speed when up ahead is clear.... wake up! You are driving, not walking.
Steptronic Supercharged April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 It is quite typical or what! have you not read in BT that you need to reach Lane 1 when ever you enter expressways? . Another typical attitude is the cars behind you cut the chevron / double white lanes and block your way in entering the expressways. Bl**dy hell! Really hate the cut chevron and double white line stint, last time I will go and block them if I manage to clear just in time, but nowadays, I give up, I ain't no cop... BUT this "jump to first lane" stint is making me crazy at PIE towards Changi exit Lornie road, it's an uphill stretch, there is already a lane that is clear ahead "EVERYTIME" but cars like to squeeze with cars on the right. If they accelerate to 70 kph at that clear stretch, they can easier go to any lane they wish to... Never learn! Time wasted is one thing, creating accident because drivers at the back have to siam is another...

Jansonfinn Neutral Newbie April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 Agree! They should filter out to 3rd lane, then signal their intention to filter to lane 2 & 1 if needed. Dun have to wait for all of the lanes are cleared of cars b4 joining the main road. Wasting of time & create traffic holdup for the cars behind him/her. Mcf777 Turbocharged April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 dont understand why so many cars like to cut the chevron. especially inside the kpe tunnel when the road ahead is clear (unblock, no car). once on the main road, they drive so slow. not like rushing for time. i had submit many video clips on these idiots! wonder how many points or fine will they get. Ilmw 1st Gear April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 After entering a bigger road (like expressway) from a smaller one, people always filter to the right, even when they're not fast enough. Or, behind a van/lorry/truck on lane #2, change to lane #1, but continue to stay around the same speed. Do not underestimate van/lorry/truck; just go see @ west coast highway. Grix17 Clutched April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 Many drivers have a one-dimensional driving habit .. no sense of timing, logic or courtesy. That's why our roads are super jammed at rush hours.

Entering KPE (TPE bound) from PIE at Kallang Way in the evenings, always see some cars like to jump queue and cut across chevrons coz the merging lane very long and they want to get to Lane 2 and 1 without having to follow everyone to finish merging into lane 3.
