Starian Clutched January 13, 2007 Share January 13, 2007 (edited) are you collecting during wee hours? if it within working hours of HDB branch office, simply drive your car to any branch office with your roadtax or logcard to apply for 1. and HDB now have an online version, @ www.hdb.gov.sg, click on SERVICES follow by find --> Parking - Application for Season Parking Ticket (New Application). I have not try this version yet, but it shd be able to let you apply in advance provided you know your "car plate no". Anyway you dont need to apply too many days in advance, cos you are paying for the lot the moment you start to pay for it! and if the parking is not started on the 1st month, you need to pay full month unless you pay 2 months(1stmonth pro-rated), and also opt to get a GIRO form so to enjoy 2% rebate every month... There shd be no limit as my house had 2 vehicles parking in the same carpark. Edited January 13, 2007 by Starian

Starian Clutched January 13, 2007 Share January 13, 2007 OIC, URA and HDB are 2 different dept handling the carpark, as the name suggest, those carparks not under HDB are fallen under URA, eg. those parking along the shophouse in Geylang/Chinatown/Littleindia. These carpark are heavily used, thus URA need to limited the no of cars per house. So for my case, it a HDB parking, thus this rule dont apply to me.... Htbtb Neutral Newbie March 6, 2007 Share March 6, 2007 hi people since you are discussing about SEASON PARKING, I would like to ask a question here. If someone buys a car with an address say in the East, however the SEASON PARKING to purchase will be an address in the North, is that possible? Not temporary but permanently. Not sure if anyone has encountered this... Hopefully someone can advise... *-*-* KC
Nutty 4th Gear March 6, 2007 Share March 6, 2007 My manager used to do that, coz he parks at his mother-in-law's place every morning and then take bus to work. Just go and ask at the area office and see if they permit. Usually if there are a lot of vacancies at the carpark, you have a high chance of getting it. Swift 1st Gear March 6, 2007 Share March 6, 2007 Both cars paying the same rate, mine's and dad's. But from what I heard from my dad, only the 1st car is guaranteed a lot, the 2nd car's is depending on the demand in the area...and can only renew for up to 3mth each time.... Swift 1st Gear March 6, 2007 Share March 6, 2007 I think can. but the timing is not for 0000-2400hrs...think is only for 0730-2100 hrs or something like that....
Limi Neutral Newbie March 7, 2007 Share March 7, 2007 Yes, you can do it, depending on the availability of the carpark which YOU DON'T STAY. I stay in North but work in West and I purchased 2 season tickets for the 2 HDB parking. I am lucky as the HDB carpark at my workplace still have available slots for us "outsiders". Starian Clutched March 7, 2007 Share March 7, 2007 (edited) No problem with that, either tell the counter staff which carpark you want to buy season parking at, or show them your own address, ie your ic, to make sure you got the right carpark, it very simple. another thing to show them is the roadtax, else you have to verbally tell them the vehicle no. They wont bother where the owner of the vehicle stays at, cos sometime ppl use company or even leased vehicle to buy season too...
