Wish or Stream?

Actual usage depends on driving habits...

Paper specs, just ignore them...not accurate...

But I believe 10-11km/L should be a good estimate already...

I am already getting 10-11km/L now for my Mz6, heavy throttle all the time eversince hitting 1000km mark, 80% city and always in a rush... [:p]

I tried the new Carens, last row is just as bad, if not worst, than Wish.

If want better last row, can get bigger MPVs like Estima.

Or can try Toyota Sienta if u don't mind 1.5L car. I drove 6 full size guys (tall and fat) in a Sienta, seating is 2/2/2 (everyone took turns to try different seat as I drove them around few locations). Feedback I got, they actually like the 3rd row as much as they like the 2nd row, to them, same comfort (one say 3rd row more comfortable, must be something wrong with his ass). Frankly, I was surprised, i never expect this feedback from them about the 3rd row. But i don't sell cars, so don't just take my word, best is go try yourself to judge.

i also tried the carens. last row not good but still a good car. got special features like battery saver, auto headlights rain sensor etc

Sienta is really the ugliest car ever made. its a toyota but obvious enough, it doesnt appeal to the masses due to a 1990 design

Stream better outlook

Stream more quiter and smoothier engine

Stream more power

Stream have better ICE comes with 2 monitor one at dashboard and one at roof

also reverse camera and sensors

Stream also better resale

For 2k more it is value for money . my 2 cents .

I presume you are basing on per tank of 50litres which can save you 50km.

Assuming you clock average of 2000km per month, means you can save 200km per month, which translate to 20L of petrol.

20L of petrol is about $35.

$35 x 12mths x 10years = $4200 worth of petrol saved for entire 10years.

So we can roughly use this as benchmark to compare against selling price of different models (excludes loan interest rate though)... [gossip]

i have tried stream, wish & caren....

performance wise, stream is the best follow by caren.

Mazda 5 haven't test drive yet, but believe should be as good as stream.

BUT the price of Mazda is the most expensive among all 4 car (it's very true if you check thru again) & it's resale value is as worst as Caren.

Space wise, Mazda is the wrost in those 4 as well. [thumbsdown]

let said both performance are on par.

it's 1.8L vs 2.0L, just based on the road tax, you can save $300/yr, $3000 for 10 yrs.

insurance wise will be another factor as well.

i mean stream vs madza.

I think you under estimated the new Stream's FC. My current 2L f/l Stream already can give me average 11km/l. The new Stream with the newer and more efficient engine can definitely give better FC than 10.5 to 11km/l.
