What's the closest rival for the Suzuki Swift Sport?

I think the Suzuki Swift Sport has found a niche for itself.

In terms of engine capacity, body style and price, there is no direct rival.

I think you have left out the Honda Fit 1.5 VTEC and the Mitsubishi Colt Version Ralliart.

 

The SS looks more like a hatch while the other two looks like a little MPV.

 

For the price, the cheapest is the Honda followed by the SS then the CVR. Same order for their power as well.

 

SS is a good car but the hi-revving engine and lack of a 6th gear contribute to the poor economy for this car, it's small inside and there's no Recaro seats for this car. Even its older brother, the Ignis Sports has it.

Recaro is available as an option for $5000 alongside with other goodies like additional airbags,projector headlights + HID technology,etc.

The Colt Ralliart will outmatch the Swift Sport for power and straightline speed, for slightly more money. Good trade I would say.

 

Haven't driven the Ralliart to compare it against the Swift Sport for handling.

That price doesn't reflect the true price of the car EA is retailing at. Must go down ask for the price.
