No more in production since end of 2006.... Honda trying to push Civic TypeR (CTR) instead.... but you can find some 2nd hands selling at sgcarmart....

I dun think thats it Its just low profitability for this group of cars.

 

All thats left are the uptuned versions of the street going car in the small 4 cylinder market.

 

Theres no S15, nor MR2/MRS nor celica. Too much work for v.little profit in the small sports coupe market. Emissions rulings are also making it harder to push out good figures, but thats less of a reason than the profit vs work comparison.

 

Some ppl might say the mx5 and rx8 are there, but the mx5 has always been in the roadster group and the rx8 is still nowhere near the car the RX7's were.

yup, they've taken over the lifestyle market which belonged to the small sports coupe segment!

Crossover SUVs, sigh... no where like a competently designed coupe for handling and thrills.

 

Hope when they realise the market is choke full of stupid looking SUVs that they realise what is market saturation.. like bubble tea of yore.

but i do agree on the CR-X too.the last was the del sol.
