Never fasten seat belt..

 

happened to me once for not fastening seat belt.. but after i stopped he suspected i did illegal modifications.. asked me pop bonnet.. then asked me to follow him to base.. aft some pleading.. he let me go

 

another time stopped aft show at plaza sing.. no speeding.. but for suspicion of illegal modification.. was escorted to tp hq.. car compounded for 4 days.. 4 days later report to tp hq.. collected car to be escorted to lta for inspection..

 

tp.. can stop u for any reasons.. he will say.. sorry sir i m juz doing my job.. carrying out my duty.. ok ok..

Once I stop as the first row of cars at a traffic junction with red traffic lights. Then this TP bike stopped beside me. We were all waiting for the green signal when a second set of traffic lights about 60-100 meters ahead of us turn green. At that point, a car 2 lanes of us blur blur proceed to move off. The Tp stunned for a couple of seconds then turn on his siren and give chase. Manage to catch up and stop that blur guy before our set of lights turn green. Haiz...that is at least 12 points unless the TP give chance.

Too many decals can easily grab the attention of the TP suspecting the car has illegal modifications... Fog light oso another factor and I think that owner may be fined for it...

I believe too much attraction on the ride i.e Stickers, GT Wing, Tinted Headlights & Tail Lights, Loud Exhaust ... etc will led the TP to stop us

 

Can't blame them cos they are actually doing their job.

 

As long as we stick to the proper rules & regulations, we do not need to be afraid of them

 

That's why when we wanna mod, stick to those LTA approved ones so even when we get stopped by TP, there is no worries Those non approved ones would have to pay a price for it

Obvious things like exhaust, holding a mobile phone, seat belt, tail-lights or head lights musking etc etc.

what are the reasons that allow TP to stop you other than speeding?I saw a red getz stopped by TP on the road today.Heavily sticker,fog and headlight on.Got other reason?

 

there was once i kena stop by TP.

i wanted to filter to lane 1 from lane 2 along Stevens Road.

i ON my signal and check that the distance of a car from lane 1 is pretty far and wasn't very fast.

i proceeded to filter in.The TP was in lane 1 infront of me now.the car behind bloody horn at me.

the TP stopped me.

 

recently,my friend's friend also had a similar incident as me.kena horn by taxi and TP topped him.

yesterday i saw a Black(i think) Getz with stickers all over and with tinted pink or red fog light.

could it be the same Getz.

Road hogging.

I was once pulled over by TP rider.

Reason going 70 plus on AYE fr Tuas to city direction.

He ask me why going at 70 +, I said I saw u coming so

I slowed down loh. He let me off with warning.

He must hve see me but did not clock me so let

me off with rd hogging instead

Think that time possibly could be TP who stopped you. But now such things will be ROV not TP. Coz they are now separate entities.

 

Now, no matter how loud or illegally modified your car is, TP will usually leave you alone unless you are speeding or driving recklessly. ROV on the other hand, will stop you and ask you to follow him even if your car is stationary.

No they didnt leave me alone.. even if i didnt speed and drive recklessly.. ok.. 1st occasion i mentioned was due to not fastening seat belts.. 2nd was juz simply driving within speed limit from PS towards Bras Basah road.. dat night was tp operations.. i met 2 frenz at tphq..
