basically its a demand vs supply game. If you have been following COE bidding, you roughly can guess the demand while the supply is fixed. So my guess is based on economics theory, haha.

COE supply drop, last 2 bids some AD like BM did not bid for cust. so still many backlog.

 

My guess:

CAT A = $14501

CAT B = $15001

CAT E = $15701

read from the Lancer forum that C&C also did not bid for their customers for the last 2 bids. lots of backlog to clear. also the car price had been significantly increased since the COE crash (averagely about 3k).

 

look like the COE this time round might not fluctuate too much. just my 2 cents worth.

Car dealers starts to submit bids but the bids received so far still far below the quota:

I have a feeling that COE prices will come down this round. There were just too many hypes for the past two months.

 

Besides, most orders locked in by dealers in feb and Mar were at low prices. Most customers refuse to top-up also.

No wonder my cousin booked his lancer 23rd Feb yet still not much confirmed news. Toking abt C&C's guranteed coe vs my normal, his SE gave him a rough around 21st april delivery date and i booked mine in early march n delivery this week... [hur]

agree to top up will only mean agree to let car dealers to use the tactic of attracting you to buy at low price and when COE go up, ask you to top up and in the end buyers LPPL and pay for higher price [sweatdrop]
