The Subaru Tribeca gets a mild facelift, to look like a chrysler...

With the old subaru, it looked like it was designed by a sanitary pad designer. It's curves were so abrupt and the front looks like a winged pad...

 

Now Subaru goes one big round, and came back with a SUV which looks like a chrysler grand voyager on high heels. At least the new backside looks better now.. car manufacturers can take note of their interior though, spankingly delicious :)

 

Previously on my SUV choice list, the tribeca was probably ranked abt the same as a vacuum cleaner on a car list. But due to its redesign, it's gone a notch up to skip above the CRV. Now I can safely say, i won't mind buying the tribeca, but only if there was no CX7, Rav4, Outlander, Pajero, cayenne, captiva, touareg and landrovers.

 

 

 

 

Like the WRX, Subaru seems to be throwing models into the market without any thought on the design. A good example will be the WRX, 4 model changes in the past decade, and all looks different !! The pug nose didn't look good to me at first, but it really grew on me after a while. But the 05 model looks best still..

My favourite cars are Audis. They have a similar style across their entire range, easy to tell what brand it is. The best looking one is the A5.

that is true skinky...audis are now the most famous with their grilles. subaru should fire their entire design team.....obviously no effort was put in to consider consumer approval.....the director of design and styling at subaru should hang himself in shame...

The tribeca has that a sanitary pad with wings look that is hideous....also true about their repeated failed attempts to improve the impreza's looks....

But seriously, just like my "favourite" Korean multi-seater, who deserves to be shot more when we end up getting an, er, unfashoinable product? The designer or the person who approved its release?

 

I mean, it wasn't too long ago Fiat released a Coupe you know and look where its designer ended up today...

dont understand why they need the press and ordinary man on the street to tell them the original face looks like PIG.

 

Now they revert back to conservative design. I wont even call that a design.

A grill so unglamorous and ordinary.
