(edited)

Heard from SE of KM that the Stream that they bringing in is only 2.0L and fully kitted, like the RSZ model that PI brings in...

Have tested the PI model last month with a friend, the interior is too crampy, esp the rear, and no rear aircon as well for the 1.8L.

For KM, I guess it will definitely be in the range of 82-88k and should be ready for booking by 3rd quarter.

Reason?

It's 2L, its fully kitted, interior and exterior, it must be more expensive than Civic and lower than Odyssey.

COMING back to this thread, my friend actually shortlisted Mz5, Wish and Stream. He ended up with Mz5 at 68k (although waiting period is 3mths), we found Wish too outdated, Stream too crampy and new Stream from KM gonna cost a bomb for sure...

Picnic? Too ex for such a old car...82k...did I hear wrongly? [hur]

My dad is considering to change his Altis to a MPV. He isn't comfortable with buying from PI and doesn't want a MPV that's too big in engine capacity. After considering all factors, we have zoomed down to Picnic and Mazda 5. We haven't gone for a test drive yet but have seen both cars. Therefore need inputs from both Picnic and Mazda 5 owners on their rides. Thanks. [flowerface]

Stream or Wish is best liao .... if don't mind smaller .... then Airwave ....

Have all 3 in my showroom .... [nod][nod]

Neutral Newbie

dun understand u can say RX8 ugly and still vote for kia carens..

comparing them..

i never like toy cars like RX8 and MR-S etc.

i prefer muscular cars like silvia, skyline, JDM accord euro R!

JDM accord euro R is muscle car??? FYI, a type S rx8 is rather on par with a JDM euro R therefore, to categorise euro R in the muscle car league is ???????

Suzuki APV FC is very bad... [shakehead] I got the info from owners that they're returning a FC of about 10km/L only. That's bad when u consider APV has a 1.6L engine. However the APV is very spacious and 8 people can easily fit into it.

Between the 2 I would go for the Maz5. Sliding back doors, modern looks (when compared to the Pinic) and a better engine and suspension setup. The Maz5 does not look too cheap as well.

u'r talking about a 1.6litre powering an 8 seater!!!

why would 10km/litre be bad?

other than wish, i really doubt any 7-8 seater can return a higher figure.

if suzuki throw in a 2.4 litre to power an 8 seater, u'll say the high road tax.

OH MAN!

this blue stream is so NICE!!!!!!

the nicest MPV in the whole entire world

I really doubt Honda can come out with a nicer looking mini MPV..

TS U SHOULD CONSIDER THIS!

to me... the nicest looking MPV:

1)Stream

2)Odyssey

3)Grandis

Yes, i heard it drinks. but it is a 8 seater MPV. selling price is cheap and u save on road tax too. simlar MPV tat seat 8 include Honda Elysion, Toyota Alphard, Toyota Estima but they will cost so much more.

All MPVs drink. Expect 10km/l or less on average, esp on full load.

i have to disagree with this.

i think the engine in the Picnic is better. It's more refined and slightly more powerful compared to Mz5.

anyways, to TS, my vote goes to the Picnic.

but do note that a replacement for the Picnic is due next year.
