Phelan 1st Gear January 27, 2008 Share January 27, 2008 Well, looking at the station, since there is no big cyclinders anywhere in view, i presume that the cng dispenser will be supplied directly through their gas pipeline. I pumped only 9.9kg of gas when the indicator appeared red and my tank is 66L type. Maybe I should talk to Melcher whether we can improve on this. Genie47 1st Gear January 27, 2008 Author Share January 27, 2008 (edited) Wait a minute. You pumped in gas while the indicator is red? That means there is still gas in it. When I use my gas, it completely fizzes out as in not enough gas in it to have a pressure reading. The car automatically switches to petrol. Don't worry. You got some more gas in it even at red. Nice thing about a bifuel car is that you can run out of gas and the system switches over to petrol. Just try for once use the CNG until the car switches over to petrol. It is an all-in-one. The compressor, storage and everything all in one. That is why there is one dispenser island with two dispensers. Still I think SPC is damn kuku to rent out that space to SembGas. Yes, it is rented space to SembGas to do the CNG business. When it opens, confirm got taxi driver KPKB. Since now here got ERP gantry open 1 here in the heartland! Genie mine is doing 19.5KM per KG ..... And the ecu seems to have improved .... got power except in very hot days with aircon full blast....the engine seems to stalled if u clutch in ... other days ok ... power wise hmmm improving .... Dirtrider_ak Neutral Newbie January 29, 2008 Share January 29, 2008 (edited) Looks like heartland have to wait ... see how. Where did you get your thermostat housing the metal version? the plastic thingy looks like not gonna hold due to the heat and was replaced with new ones because of heat and pressure. It also show signs of coolant residue not confirmed yet. My radiator cap have tiny crack on the inside pressure valve and also was replaced. The cooling system seems to be heating up when on CNG and causing a failure to the plastics. Still monitoring and hope for the best. My engine oil temp hit 130~145 deg C without aircon. With aircon it maintains somewhere 105 deg c constant. Funny part is that the temp hardly move up but i know the coolant is hot. Maybe next change engine oil will go for the 40 weight instead of 30 weight oil for precaution sake. Will update more.
