Spherex 1st Gear May 14, 2007 Share May 14, 2007 Going for my 40K maintenance servicing soon and planning to change my battery. Just wondering, will the price to pay be much higher at the service centre? Or should I change at outside workshops? Anything to look out for when changing batteries? Thanks! ↡ Advertisement

Sony 1st Gear May 14, 2007 Share May 14, 2007 (edited) Eh.. friend, Funny leh.. everytime you want to change something, you have to start a new thread har? so when you changing to new toilet roll, maybe do a poll and we decide which brand is better.. 2ply or single ply.. white, pink or yellow colour better? Edit: I'm on the bitchy side today, so my apologies for the language Edited May 14, 2007 by Sony

Familymanz 3rd Gear May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 how old is ur car? I think its 50% off for the 2nd yr & 25% off for the 3rd year, if u change @ TCM Slightly cheaper if u factor in the discounts
Lloh108 Neutral Newbie May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 My Murano comes with a battery with I personally do not like - the sort that requires you to top-up battery water. Not too sure if Nissan uses that all the time. Am thinking of changing to something better.
Adrianli Hypersonic May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 Their battery price is much higher. They only had those that need to top up water type. I changed mine elsewhere @ S$60, maintenance free wif 1 yr warranty. If u feeling rich n wana give it away, willing to keep topping up water, go ahead n get it from TCM. Sony 1st Gear May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 yah, for me, forum feedback do play some part when it comes to purchase of items but not to the extent of starting a new thread. Just imagine the amount of new thread people will start daily when they ask to change things in their car.

Chimp Clutched May 15, 2007 Share May 15, 2007 (edited) My Murano comes with a battery with I personally do not like - the sort that requires you to top-up battery water. Not too sure if Nissan uses that all the time. Am thinking of changing to something better. TCM changed my Murano's battery FOC within the first year during one of those PM so I get back the same battery type. Not sure why the battery die so fast, but if I have to pay for it, I will also go for a maintenance free battery. How do you like your Dunlop Grantrek ST tyres? Mine gets a bit slippery after 25K and give me wheel spin when going on wet pavement. Now changed to other brand already...
