Schneider79 Clutched May 21, 2007 Share May 21, 2007 Specs is on the net. There will be 3 variants on the new GTR. The GTR Evolution will cost more than $500k. In line with the Porsche GT3 RS.
Kiadaw 6th Gear May 21, 2007 Share May 21, 2007 The pricing abit crazy isn't it, if its true. As u mention, for this kind of money, can get almost all Porsche except Turbo & carrera GT. Too expensive for a Nissan, even for a GTR, IMHO. The whole idea of Japanese sports car is bang for bucks, & aftermarket parts. Since so few people can afford it, let alone buy it. I don't see many shops carrying its parts. Its gonna be very ex$ to buy & mod in my opinion ala NSX. Having say that, if my pocket deep enuff, I don't mind adding this to my garage. Nazaki Clutched May 21, 2007 Share May 21, 2007 wosh! 1/2m for a Nissan... Tt's crazy. but if it gives out enzo performance.. den I feel its worth the $$. haha. but highly unlikely man. Den again.. now we have the ulitmate line up. N.A vs F.I GT3 RS vs GTR Evolution PS: I can't find the GTR evolution on the web..

BMW320i Neutral Newbie May 21, 2007 Share May 21, 2007 I like the car but I will not pay half a million for a Nissan Badge. I reckon alot of people will be buying the base model and do it up from there. At least that seems to be the most economical method in terms of bhp/dollar. BMW320i Neutral Newbie May 21, 2007 Share May 21, 2007 3.8L Twin Turbo 450 horsepower at the flywheel My understanding is that the Evo Spec will be on limited production numbers. This should give exclusivity to those who purchase it which explains why it is so expensive.

I don't think a lot of singaporeans will buy... $280k can buy Cayman S. For a hardcore machine, you need hardcore buyers. Most rich singaporeans are badge savvy... BMW320i Neutral Newbie May 21, 2007 Share May 21, 2007 True. I'm not going to debate with others as to what is Best Bang for buck. It is a never ending debate. I believe there are true car/Nissan enthusiast that are prepared to pay this price if they love it alot and there is nothing wrong with that. For my case, I do love the GTR but I don't love it enough to pay $500k. However $280k for the base model is a fair price to pay. GTR has always been a legend and today's modern car are still using it as the Benchmark for performance.
