Shell & 7 eleven cash card top up

I think it's really unfair for them to take away the cash card top up machine and thus topping up have to be done at the cashier. There is a fee of 50 cents for doing that.

 

Really felt that is unnecessary. Why can't just leave that machine alone. Still have to spent time queuing up just to top up cash card.

 

Who can we complain to?

Huh. Just go any POSB ATM to do the top up lor. So many around. (i usually use POSB atm, not sure whether other banks atm also has the cashcard top up facility, i suppose should have)

Can do your cash card top-up at AXS machine, some petrol koisk have them.

It's a commercial outlet. If they provide, it's an additional services provided. If they don't, you can bring your money elsewhere, such as Esso/mobil which have DBS ATM in there.

 

It's like you let someone come into your house to pee, it's a goodwill, one off thingy. Next thing you know, that fellow keep coming back and you tell him no, so who can he complain to?

Are you talking about the Shell stations with 7Eleven? Other Shell stations still have the cash card top-up machines available. I think the change came from 7Eleven slowly replacing all Shell convenient stores.

 

Not happy, tell the station manager you will be going elsewhere becos of this inconvenient... Consumers can vote with their feet.

Use atm top-up considered as NETS transaction leh, got charge us extra 2% boh....

Even nets charge you $0.50 for topping up your OWN cash card with your OWN cash card reader at your OWN home with your OWN credit card!

why not do it at atm machine? as far as i know it's free there...

 

7-11 doesnt charge u cos u waste the energy of the person manning the counter but more so cos they get charged for the transaction...

i actually just checked my statements... didnt deduct 50 cents leh.. but i havent used AXS since end of last yr.. this yr onwards using atm cos more convenient...
