Fake tyres ?

All, some branded tyres can cost almost 50% lesser. Any chance that these tyres are not the originals ? If certain country can even make fake eggs, there should be no problem making fakes tyres as the design can be copied easily and most layman won't be able to tell the difference in compound.

Which shop is that? Only a few type on offer or most of it on offer? Can check the manufacturing date and country of manufacturing, I think it should be imprinted on the tyre wall.....

There could be various reason for that. I the most common is to sell new-ish take-off and sell them as new.

 

From what I have heard, there are shops that either recycle or re-print tyres sticker, stuck on 2nd hand tyres and sell them as 100% new.

new tyres will comes with the original stickers on it that states the manufacturing places and models... In order not to get cheated, it is very important to buy from reliable shops.

There's a car workshop htyre pte ltd located at bendemeer rd which provides very good servicing and do honest business... They have alot of models available for tyres.

 

If future, you may wish to check with them first if not later kenna conn again.

new tyres will have either red or green stripes that havent worn off. check the mfg year and week too.

i thk tat's the mentality here. price too ex complain the seller dishonest and anyhow markup price, price too cheap worried its fake
