Has anyone tried using the electrical "super'charger?

any obvious increase in torque at low to mid rpm?

would there be serious detriment since its sucking voltage.?

your observations pls.

PS: this words something like the Turbozet.[ [laugh]

Got a fren who's put an Air Charger in his Estima. For the amount of money, the results were not that impressive. Some gains on the mid range, but high end limited - suspect it may even be a bottleneck.

Yes was looking at this e-ram and also the other one that Autodesigns does that looks like it might be more of an impediment than crating postive boost.

The ERAM will be a better bet but it's ex, if you can find second hand one that will be around $400+. The one be Autodesigns runs on low Ampere, so don't think it will have the same power as the ERAM (ERAM sucks around 50Ampere of current) nod.gif

nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif that's why need to DIY timer to cut off the ERAM at high speed driving in N/S HW, else it'll drain too much current from the battery & alternator sly.gif
