Turbocharged

I encountered something similar at Bugis open carpark. The other party was an old woman with her dotter and she started gesturing (angrily obviously) at me in her car. I waited for a few mins and, seeing that nothing has happened, gave her a middle finger. She relented and reversed so that I can drive outta the carpark [:)]

If he stopped very close to the rear of your car and cannot change lanes easily, you should wait until the next light change, when green arrow comes on, switch on your hazard lights and pretend something wrong. When the green arrow stops blinking, quickly drive off and leave him stranded for another round of light change.

I wanted to do it but I promised my wife to change my driving behaviour. I took one deep breath and let it be. If I am my old self, I would have engaged reverse gear and floored my accelerator. I did this to a merc before at Holland village. Not with my car but with a pickup truck.

Honestly speaking, if ever I come out of car and go one on one with the other driver, I am very confident I can floor that guy in less than a minute. I can even kill him with my bare fists if I want to.

Last time, hot-headed me always get into trouble with other drivers trying to be funny with me. Fights, race, verbal abuse, vandalism etc. I all had done it. I took up various forms of martial arts since young and hence resort to violence very easily due to lack of self discipline and immature thinking. I am very lucky I am not behind bars for my stupidity.

Since then, I have changed my thinking and way of managing my anger and emotions. I am happy my wife played an important role.

Nonetheless on any other day, I am confident I can always floor a man in less than a minute.

I'm sure you can do that with your martial arts background. Think we can all take a step back, take a deep breath and tell ourselves not to be bothered... It's stressed enuff being a Singaporean so why add more? Take it easy man...

Your Mrs is not the one in your avatar right?

Yes, I agree. He horned at me so that means he is pissed. I am on the receiving end of the horn but I have the initiative to choose how I react. I chose the smart path to ignore and restrain. Audi nia.... just another 4 wheeler I see on the road everyday.

Oh, the gal in my avatar is not my wife. She is my fantasy.... LOL! Just my way of making this forum more interesting for fellow forummers. [laugh]

I think the best way to get back at these horn abusers is not to react at all... This will piss them off even more and the best things you are not even doing anything illegal...

My avatar is my fantasy too... inlove.gifinlove.gifinlove.gif

I think it is very rude to use horn on someone else, especially pedestrians, if your intention is to "scold" them. My horns are used to alert the other driver to prevent accidents and during wedding convoy. [laugh]
