Car license plate design

Hi,lately i've seen a lot of people do this:

their license plate is modelled after those in EU. Meaning the plate looks something like this, the license plate has a blue strip on the left hand side, 13 stars (of EU) above & then below the country code (for eg. GB for Great Britain)

Then the rest of the license plate (which is white) has the fonts modelled after that used in the EU.

Now here's my questions: Legal?? If so, where to do?? 'Coz it sure looks good....

Please advise.

Thanks [angel]

I'm don't mind the font being in SG style, as long as the plate got the EU design (blue strip, stars and white plate) then shiok shiok liao........... [:)]
