Boyboy 1st Gear August 19, 2007 Share August 19, 2007 is tt why ventus HR2 seems to not be very promoted? anyway, i guess performance under local conditions indeed matter the most..
Jonbummer Neutral Newbie August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 bro, how's the HR2 u have on? me thinking of changing tyres towards the end of the year and i saw HR2 which seems mightily fine too and hope the price is less costly too.

Robertoon Neutral Newbie August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 HR2 is a budget range of HANKOOK. So price is reasonable.
Jonbummer Neutral Newbie August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 hi bro, thanks for the heads up it's budget range but the thread design looks ok to me leh anyway will pop by one of your shop later towards the end of this year. PS, realised your website do not show the sizes for respective tyres.
Boyboy 1st Gear August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 what kinda driving? i feel it's not worthwhile leh.. cos i got it from small tyre shop. hankook at toh guan doesn't stock it. the price i got it was higher than the price i wud have paid for V8Rs, which i was told by the folks at hankook is a better tyre. so just go with v8Rs. HR2 performance so-so only. sidewalls a tad soft, so ride quality is good. more comfort-based tyre. i only used it on the rear though. the lateral grip in the wet is atrocious. it broke away without warning during damp track session at PG. REPEATEDLY. also goes to show that RS2 (my front tyre) has better lateral wet grip, though that is independant of wet braking or aquaplaning resistance... Jonbummer Neutral Newbie August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 oh i see.... quite scary then V8RS hmmm a pity as i think they do not have R14 for this model. RS2 is also on my list, a great tyre for a good price i think thanks for the review!
