Cleaning 3m mats

How do you guys wash and dry this mat? I have trouble cleaning it, no matter how much I spray with water, the dirt seems to be endless

 

And when I dry it, I take 2 days...

 

How do you guys get it to the shiny black condition like a newly detailed car?

 

Is this normal?

Normally I take it out and just dust it by whacking it, after that vacuum thoroughly. If there are pieces of leaves or whatever that's stuck you gotta remove it manually.

 

Its the job of the 3M mat to keep the dust in, and it sure does the job well. Unless there are mud/sand stains I don't wash the mat. To dry it I try to place it upside down in an airy place. Let gravity do the work. Overall its pretty maintenance free~

 

Btw mine looks the same as 2 years ago, and its not original 3M material. Hope this info was useful

I use air gun to blow at it and boy, you can see a lot of dust coming out.
