Bioling Vinegar good for metal. Wood ok but after that you need to repaint the wood protective paint. For hard plastic is OK. Not sure on Cabinet. It is the soft plastic outer shell type?

You can get a carpenter to change the "skin" of the cabinet. Its not a cheap thing to do, but if the cabinet structure is still good..... why not???? Give it a fresh new look.

Most of the cabinets are made of ply wood and the is laminated with wood veneer.

simple. thermal decomposition of surface due to radiant heat fr the stove or endothermic reaction of the structure which absorb heat in the day and release it when the heat source (sun) has receded.

another possibility is the chemical reaction to the adhesive which affect the base composition of the laminate.
