Any rotary engine owners here??

hi ppl, i hav a frd who has a 4-AT RX8 looking for some performance mods to his ride... any bro/sis has any recomandation?? anywhere heres a few queries

 

1)does changing to a 421 extractor, high flow cat and a catback exhaust works for a rotary ride?

 

2)any shop that does tuning for this ride??

Haha.. RX8 has only two rotary engine block so 4-2-1 doesnt apply here [dizzy]

IMHO, a high flow cat should be able to do the job [sly]

 

How about shops like Garage-R, UM2..

 

Me thinks rotary engines are fussy.

However, a stock RX8 exterior is quite bland. If done up nicely on the exterior can look very fierce. For me I rather spend my $$ on a nice set of rims, tyres, suspensions, upgraded brakes etc first. [drivingcar]

for an AT RX8, dun waste money on engine mods and exhaust, you dun gain much but waste a lot of money. Rotary 1.3L is really max out at high revs, can't really chuck out any more 'juice' unless u go turbo.

 

spend money on bodykit instead and get some nice rims....drive for a few years then change to a newer car...dun waste unnecessary cash on this car....just enjoy the ride ..in SG, you dun keep the car for too long anyway ...might as well save the money for the next better car..my 2 cents
