Sosaria Twincharged November 25, 2007 Share November 25, 2007 Yes, in big cities like KL or JB, always need to be on the alert and suspicious. Although malaysians are quite helpful people, especially in the rural areas, so it comes as quite a surprise. Be careful of strangers approaching you asking for the time, or trying to tell you something etc. etc. Just pretend you didn't hear and move on... Cos when they get close enough, then they will deliver their verbal threats, then you might think twice about running away...
Schmi Clutched November 25, 2007 Share November 25, 2007 From MCFF_1980: bad... but not as bad as stinkapore ============================================================== I'm wondering what you mean MCFF? Do you mean to say that carjacking, deception and robbery is worse in Singapore? Or are you just trying to provoke Singaporeans? Well I suppose you must have succeeded since I'm responding. I know one thing. The rule of law means something in Singapore. But in countries where even cops accept cheap bribes, you can be sure the rule of law means little. Most probably he's a MY but may not be a Chinese. He feels good being 2nd class?....... but the MY Indians have had enough and are protesting on the streets. Soon the foreign investors will be packing up...... Edited November 26, 2007 by Dipstick

Coming back from Malaise-asia yesterday, my friend was stopped for speeding. We knew it was impossible because he had his cruise control on. The shameless cop refused to write out the summons and let us off after we gave him enough money to buy 2 cups of Coffee Bean Ice Blended. In Malaise-asia, even the cops are cheap crooks.
