yupz... that's the 7000 series...

oh ya... to add on for the engine oil that i am using...

it's nice for people who doesn't rev often... as some might find it a bit sluggish...

i doubt its the oil that makes the car sluggish. VIOS is not a car that's built for reving. take it easy on the accelerator and i think the car will do a good job than most 1.5l on the market.

Thanks for the replies so far! Actually I'm looking at amsoil, royal purple and mobile one. Price abt the same from trex so just wanna know its good enough for the engine. I don't normally rev above 3k rpm so I think should be okay. Most likely get the mobile one from trex (only $13.50 per quart for the 5-20W).

Amsoil ASM 0W20 is a very very solid oil, check out BITOG for more info.

Fuchs 0w20 is also very well received but the local stockist is selling it @ S$30/qt! [sweatdrop]

comparing fully syn to fully syn, i agree.

comparing schaeffer semisyn to mobil fully syn, i'm not so sure.

however, in my ride, i don't feel any difference between the abovementioned. haven't tried schaeffer fully syn yet tho

Took Terence's advice and used the amsoil 0w20 for my 10k servicing. Will be monitoring the change in FC and performance (if any) since I was on mineral previously.

I fully concur with Garlic, Msoil OW-20 is a rock solid oil and value for money. Am currently on this oil for almost 2k and fuel economy is pretty good.
