Picanto 3rd Gear December 23, 2007 Share December 23, 2007 guess its better to stick with the established brands such as NGK and DENSO.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 23, 2007 Share December 23, 2007 They're quite good. I couldnt feel a thing, but on the 180 it gave 5bhp more on the dyno.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 23, 2007 Share December 23, 2007 Nology is an established brand.
Saaber Neutral Newbie December 23, 2007 Share December 23, 2007 Get Brisk Silver Plugs, slightly cheaper, they are the same as brisk produce them for nology too..
Dynaway 1st Gear December 23, 2007 Author Share December 23, 2007 are u using it or jus giving personal opinion??? if u r using it, did u see any differences for the rev response in mid-top???
Genie47 1st Gear December 23, 2007 Share December 23, 2007 Trust me. He used them before. I wouldn't consider Ag plugs. Not enough longevity for the price but great if you are using it for racing.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 23, 2007 Share December 23, 2007 I tested it on my previous car. There was another brand, but the didn;t have the correct fittings so i went nology. Went up by 5bhp on the dyno, but i didn't feel anything different. Gotta warn you that they run at peak till abt 5000kms only.
Dynaway 1st Gear December 23, 2007 Author Share December 23, 2007 woah...so short lifespan... iridium doesnt seem any better... after like 7-8k it nothing much. i think platinum plugs are still better..
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 24, 2007 Share December 24, 2007 I like copper the best coz it has the most $ per mileage and $ per bhp ratio. That being said some cars run best on platinum plugs. Iridiums should last at least 20000kms
Genie47 1st Gear December 24, 2007 Share December 24, 2007 Ag not very resistant to corrosion or any form of abuse but it sure is a great conductor.
Mcriffen Clutched December 25, 2007 Share December 25, 2007 Hi Genie, Sorry to side track a bit. This is for knowledge purposes. (Sorry if sound dumb) Wat's the best plug for 4efte. txs
Genie47 1st Gear December 25, 2007 Share December 25, 2007 (edited) NGK BKR series. But I forgot the heat range. Should be 6 I think but if you mod it for more fuel or new turbo, go for 7. Waitaminit! What 4EFTE?! It does not exist in SG. I think it is BKR6EIX for NGK. If using Denso. Either VK20 or SK20R11.
