Hi all,

Would like to hear some feedback abt this car. Most of the local review are on the 2.4L. From my test drive, it does feels abit underpower at times. But considering the roadtax and the fuel consumption, i still decide on the 2.0L litre even though the 2.4L is only 7k more with a lot more equipment.

I've got the 2.4l in the garage. But the 2.0l was tested and we found it decent. It's a good cruiser. However, for a mere 7k more, the extras were rather tempting. Also, since the car the CRV was gonna replace was a 2.3l car, we thought we might as well just go for the 2.4l.

My neighbour has got the 2.0l unit. He bought it for his wife. However, after a business trip in KL, he felt cheated. The company gave him a CRV for one week use (apparently, the CRV is only available with the 2.0l powerplant in Malaysia) and the standard equipment were way better than his wife's CRV. It had cruise control, factory fitted audio and etc.

But if you're not fussy abt the equipment level, the CRV, which handles rather well, is a very nice car to drive.

Did you get the "Aero" kit?

yah...really very tempting...

Hmm..i am quite fussy into equipment level...but wat to do, i need a big car but do not want to spend too much....I dont mind not having the cruise control and factory fitted audio..but rain sensor and auto seat is good to have. Also my current ride have auto light, so quite use to it. 2.4L have it but 2.0L dont. Not forgetting the sun roof too. by the way, hows is the fc of the 2.4l?

The Aero kit? no la...still havent think of exterior upgrade yet..got to do it slowly...now just considering if want to get the fog light..2.0L dont even have that.

You drive a mazda 6 previously? 2.3l mah..cant think of any other car..
