Anyone have experiences with the NGK power cables and G power spark plugs?

Power Cables claims the following:

NGK's Power Cable is a performance spark plug cable designed with ultra-low resistance (0.9kW/m). The ultra-low resistance reduces spark energy loss, thereby improving acceleration, delivering smoother idling, and burning fuel cleaner. NGK's patented hyper silicon jacket minimizes voltage leakage, is resistant to heat and chemical corrosion, and it is reliable under extreme conditions. It's the hyper silicon jacket and the ultra-low resistance that allows NGK to maintain the factory diameter wires and provide the performance you crave.

* Ultra Low Resistance Reduces Spark Energy Loss

* Improves Acceleration

* Delivers Smooth Idling

* Improves Fuel Efficiency

G power claims the following:

Improved Fuel Efficiency, Lower Emissions, Quicker Starts.

* Fine platinum tip reduces required voltage

* Extremely durable under high heat

Actually wanting to improve on the FC area...Tot the NGK cables and plugs would really do the job...

Any other recommendations or experiences?

Beware of high performance cables. The main thing about spark plug cables is not stronger spark but noise suppression. And manufacturers does it thru added resistance. Of course, this resistance does result in lower spark energy.

Many of the so-called high performance wires does away with the resistor and hence gives a higher spark energy. This will cause problems with your electronics in the long run. The same thing for plugs. Nology does away with the 5K ohm resistor to boost spark energy but it can cause problems to your ECU and other electronics devices.

Can try hypermiling for about 25% FC improvement

In the market there are many spark plug cable claim that there are the best but claim only, I have seen one which is unbelieveable.

I seen the guys call John Lim with a tester to compare many best performance cable versus his cable. he started with a pair of his cable and ask anyone want to use his cable to compare, one guy bring out his so cal the best cable as what you claim above.

When he turn the tester on which start the sparking and the so call best cable sparking effect is much less than his cable. One audience ask to swap the cable from leaft to right and he did. Same result ask before, his cable still giving ultra sparking effect as compare. I bough a set for my Proton Wire 1.5, it is really fantastic, give me about 20% save petrol and Musch Smoooth and powerful drive with better torque and pick up.

He can be reach by youtube address :

Irrelevant demonstration a layman term: conman trick/gimicks

Demonstration failed to prove better spark performance during actual engine operation, just make believe with impresive arcing away from spark plug.

Just stick to Original or OEM for the best results. [thumbsup]

Just puzzle why not try the J&A Ultra Power Spark plug Cable? It have lowest Resistance and Highest Sparking Effect and High Noise Suppression, which mean it give smooth and quit drive after you install and have much power and save Fuel, value for money and it is offering $100 for 4 wire at this time, normal price at $150. No harm to tried and warranty good or do not pay.

Just curious are you any link with J&A? Cos seeing you promoting their cable.

btw are you using the cable, good?

The video suggest of attempt to mislead buyers. Sparking away from the spark plug gap is shown in that video. Thats not what we need in the engine. We need the spark to be between the spark plug gap only.

Performance wires are crap.

You got a wire to test? Send it over to me. I got a fuel that is damn sensitive to ignition.
