Super fast, ha ha ha......

Cheap China Copy of a Thailand built Toyota, with a 25 year old pirated Toyota 4A-FE engine.

The engine is so rough that an actual 25 year old 4A-FE engine runs smoother and better.

There is always a start right, MK is a good car you you give her a chance

Are you sure they are original and creative in the first few production model? Saga, wira and more are all copy old Mitsubishi design using they old engine. Only recently they start their own creation. It takes how many years for them to start designing their own car? their own engine?)

As compare to Proton 30 years old company,New Geely 11 years old company (they produce motor bike in the past)had invest on they own engine and gear box which will be launching soon.

Chery is going to have a few new car launching at the end of the year, not the best but can see they are putting in effort. Model A3 and A6cc.

You are right, should give them chance. They are learning and improving. If their product is almost as good as Hyundai... then.... really scary

the build quality is better then CK.Look also better :)

Next model should be Vision CVVT 1.8L using Geely own engine. Well the design is similar to Toyota Corolla.

Geely also come out with some new safety features:

Chinese automaker Geely introduced a new safety system at the 2008 NAIAS. Described as revolutionary, it's designed to reduce the risks of getting into an accident when one of the tires explodes. Developed in China, the Blow-Out Monitoring and Braking System (BMBS) was put to the test at 100 kph on a production model, the Geely Vision. During these tests, despite the sudden loss of air pressure caused by a tire explosion, the system was able to progressively slow the car down while allowing the driver to maintain control. proton did use mitsubishi's engine and chassis..but at least they did it udner liscense and they bother to come out with a new body..unlike china's car..just copy and paste whole car and rebadge as chery/geely/whatever nonsense..and best of all, without permission from the copyright owner
