Hyper_rev 1st Gear March 22, 2008 Share March 22, 2008 If you're there early april, maybe you can try and see the Bangkok International Auto Show which is on till 6th april. Shopping wise... MBK, siam square area, chatuchak are the usual places offered. HWZ's thread is quite a good read, gives you an idea where to stay/go.
Gadgeter 2nd Gear March 22, 2008 Share March 22, 2008 (edited) Oh.. But cant leh.. Goin with gf.. She confirm wanna shop and shop and shop.. Is there really so much to shop there? For shopping, you may consider the followings which are just near to each other. 1. World Trade center (see look only) 2. Platinum Plaze (look for the red heart in the map) 3. Big C (Look for the pink heart in the map) [inline WORLD.jpg] You may want to plan a day @ Platinum alone for shopping, and you can settle your meal at the food court (5th floor), if I remember correctly. If you are not staying at this area, then one of the nearest BTS station is Chitlom. BTS map: http://www.bangkok-maps.com/frameme.php?page=bts.htm I stayed at Hyatt during my last visit (beside the famous 4 face buddha).
