Albeniz Turbocharged March 30, 2008 Share March 30, 2008 My car has been fitted with GR80 since August 2005. Still in good condition. Unbelievable! But my mileage is very low, car is sitting in car park most of the time.

Linus Clutched March 30, 2008 Share March 30, 2008 wait till the tyres scrub-in. the tyres perform well when heated up. yeah, when going through puddles of water, the steering wont jump so much on either side. despite that, still not safe to speed in the wet. safety first, my friend. Bobofish Neutral Newbie March 30, 2008 Share March 30, 2008 bro, if you want hankook, V8 is the only model you want ? i can help go down with you to hankook shop to see other models. currently using V8, 205/45/16. very good in the wet. soft side wall, comfy tyres. unfortunately, i had not used the other 4 makes before. personally, i would not take 326. i guess GR80 would have similar performance as the B391. I had diff experience. Used B391 (185/70R14) on altis and aquapan along CTE during very heavy rain. Used GR80 (195/60R15) on altis and Latio, grip on wet and dry quite ok to me Recently changed to V2 (195/60R15), not much diff from GR80. Felt quieter but maybe tyres still new (now less than 8K) Regarding price, the famous shop at AMK quoted me $85 for GR80 (195/60R15). His quote too late and was already changing to V2, else would have gotten GR80 from him. BTW bought V2 at I think $104??
Linus Clutched March 30, 2008 Share March 30, 2008 have not tried V2 on 15 inch. cant comment much. likewise for GR80. now on V8, 16 inch.

Nhrisuzu 1st Gear May 31, 2008 Author Share May 31, 2008 hmmm.. using V2 now.. 5K on it liao.. past few days have downpour.. the water treading is good as compared to others i used before..
Ericsnow Neutral Newbie June 2, 2008 Share June 2, 2008 I wanted to change to V8 but Hankook doesnt accept trade in. Currently running on Falken Ziex 522, 6k+ km only. Still considering to change to V8 but can I sell my current 522 to any shop? Feel so wasted if I were to dispose them and I believe they can still worth some value? Bearbear1494 Clutched June 2, 2008 Share June 2, 2008 Lelong the old tires to those who use the same size. Trade in at shops also not much value. They'll take in at very low price & then resell at double. Post in various car forums for a lower price & I'm sure there'll be takers.
