Friendstar Supercharged April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 i rather have higher cc without a turbo
Friendstar Supercharged April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 but i also understand that this car was made to comply with the stringent 660cc tax rebate
Friendstar Supercharged April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 FC wise, i tink the honda fit is unbeatable in terms of performance to engine size
Xefera 6th Gear April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 but some prefer lower road tax with the performance of higher cc engine
Meecar Clutched April 6, 2008 Author Share April 6, 2008 yes I am very surprise because it is 660cc. the smallest cc that i ever own was a daihatsu charade many many years ago 3 cylinder engine it was my very first car (3drd actually) first was a sunny than an accord the 1st two car drank too much petrol i like the interior of I car because for a small exterior it is huge inside
Friendstar Supercharged April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 honestly hor, 1000cc road tax versus 660cc road tax doesnt differ much but the turbo must maintain leh no joke.
Friendstar Supercharged April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 yes if u examine the mit i carefully u'll realize that its wheelbase is as long as say, a vios? it is very well designed. even in terms of handling and safety. just tat too many ladies are driving it. Malie Neutral Newbie April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 if our govt follows their govt by offering 660cc tax incentives, im sure this car will take off in sales. right now its more like a chic and cute looking car.
Iygnaug 1st Gear April 6, 2008 Share April 6, 2008 i test drove the car. Handling was good for city driving, didn't manage to get it on the expressway, but in terms of city driving, it's more than enough. By the way, the turbo comes with a higher insurance. Don't just think about the road tax. I like the exterior, but the interior is too bland for my taste, some would call it simple. I was on the verge of getting it, but as what some bro said, it's not that cost effective to own a 660cc car. Anyway, with quite a high rpm everytime u drive, i am not sure how long it is before the wear and tear comes in. Cool car, uncool price. Perhaps, it's just me, i have taken a liking to cars with butt...... The boot space is horrible....for me. If i really bought this car, i wouldn't have dare to drive it to malaysia too. Not because of its engine performance, but it will attract too many unwanted attention. In Singapore, maybe still alright..

Friendstar Supercharged April 7, 2008 Share April 7, 2008 if our govt follows their govt by offering 660cc tax incentives, im sure this car will take off in sales. right now its more like a chic and cute looking car. The govt wont do that cos a mit i will still use up equal amount of road space. right now the concern is not environment but road usage

Mockngbrd Supersonic April 7, 2008 Share April 7, 2008 (edited) its a good car. very good point to point car. dun think insurance will be expensive. road tax cheap, petrol cheap and super easy to park and find parking slots. handling is good enuff for what it is. nippy around town. looks nice too only thing against it is lack of boot space cos the engine is in the rear-mid position. but for ppl like me who have an empty boot... not an issue seriously considered this car once b4, now gf is considering it too. dun think this car is meant to whack up the NS highway... but more for city driving. heck, even Gordon Murray of Maclaren likes this car. what mitsubishi did was use their experience from the days of Smartcar/DaimlerChrysler and make an even better packaged product. Friendstar Supercharged April 7, 2008 Share April 7, 2008 I like your comments!!! actually this car is really awesome u'r right about the boot part. but i'm sure there's this flexible rear seat configuration? they went into many nitty gritty details to build this car of coz as a consumer, i hope it'll be 5k cheaper. ↡ Advertisement
