What will u do if u pick up a lost mobile phone?

I hv a ex-secondary sch classmate who found a bag containing $20000 at a bus stop

That is a huge amount during those years!

He was only 14-15 yrs old when he pick that bag up. It was a time when even $50 means a lot.

 

He said he never think so much, just bring to police post.

Picking up a bag containing $20000 seems unbelieveable as why would anyone take so much cash out & forgot to take it, but it did happen. The amount was announced by our sch principal & present him the police cert which also state the amount.

 

If I remember correctly, the owner was rushing to the airport on a flight to the states. As a result, the owner has to miss the flight but at least he got his $$$ back.

Anyway, missing a flight is still consider much cheaper as I doubt a tix back then cost this much

After 3 months if nobody collect....then its legally mine !!

I was at the ATM withdrawing money and there was a card that was left there...forgotten to retrieve after using it...I took the card...waited around the ATM machine for around 15 mins...nobody show up so I just slot the card into the quick cheque box....cos there was no branch office....correct way of doing it ?

If you want us to give your friend "a break", then you should start the ball rolling by not posting your friend's experience in this forum for us to discuss and debate about in the first place, no?

 

Nobody asked you to share your friend's "traumatic" incident with all and sundry in this forum, right? You chose to do so, so you need to accept that people will definitely talk and discuss your friend's behavior and actions. Just because you don't like hearing what people have to say about your friend's action doesn't means you have to be so hostile and defensive.

 

Remember, YOU chose to post your friend's experience in public. So deal with it like a man when people have negative or harsh comments on your friend. You sowed the seeds, now live with it.
