how regularly do you wash your car? I believe you most properly leave the rain water too long on the car for it start to etch into your paint,if you can, should try to wash once a week or more when it has been raining almost on a dialy basis. another way it to put on a layer of wax or sealant, you can refer to the detailing folder for more detail on how to go about doing it and what products to use. As for the mat, you should clean it when you are washing your car, regular washing and cleaning will make it easy for you. hope this helps flowerface.gif

rinse with clean water & dry it whenever your car are caught in the rain.

apply wax or silicone glaze once in a wk...tis is to protect the paint..

Do you shampoo your whole car before rinsing off?

You have to do it panel by panel to avoid having the shampoo drying up.

Once the shampoo dries up, it'll be very difficult to rinse off and might cause water marks and coagulation of dirt.

You might also get some paint cleaner to get rid of the stubborn stains...

It takes a bit of effort though...

Some stubborn stains may be left on car body during rain and is not visible while washing, i.e., when the car is washed under shelter. These marks will reappear when u go into the open.

U may wanna use some of the detailing stuff to clean off these stains [flowerface]

U need to squeeze it dry thoroughtly before start to wipe again. Basically...for every panel you wipe dry, squeeze the water out of your cloth before proceeding to the next panel.
