Visited the workshop Blk 1 #387J S(677954) forgot the name of shop.

 

EO labour change $12

spark plug $3.50 each

oil filter $6

wiper $16 per pair

 

Overall is cheap n fast, mechanic also look look see if there's any problem with other area.

They also quoted me change timing belt for picanto which is the cheapest price in town i believe.

Just to clarify, the $20 engine oil change in my bill is actually :

 

$15 for engine oil change and $5 for spark plug change. If you dont need change spark plug, its $15 only for engine oil change.

 

 

I will still visit him for my servicing. I find his price reasonable. Somemore, no GST.

 

 

found another workshop at Toh Guan Centre (MING CHONG Auto, 1st floor) charging $15 for drain and fill of oil only..

 

 

don't include oil filter and sparkies as i'm just doing the 5K oil change..

 

will only change my oil filter on the 10K interval..

 

 

anyway, i'm not related to them.. also, they do alot of lorry/pickup/vans..

 

so, i can say.. if just want to do oil change, should be pretty ok.. not sure if they are VERY familiar with cars though, because i've never seen them servicing cars..

Should be same price, S$15 for oil change. S$5 for spark plugs change. So total should cost u S$20 in labour for ur job(changing of engine oil, spark plugs and oil filter)

i think he look at car type for the different charges.

maybe b&B car is S$15. see other more x car, he charge more. prices same as any workshop.

 

maybe he is only familar with B&B car, he cant even find the air-con filter in my car......waste my time to find another ws

Still $20 for engine oil, oil filter and spark plugs for b&b car. Only problem is that stupid small steep slope, must be very careful or else will hit bodykit.

Bro, think the pricing which the uncle quoted to you is special pricing for you only.

 

I am driving a Japanese make, being quoted $25 for a oil change job with my own parts at the Thomson workshop. Reduced to $20 when I am about to turn around to leave. In the end I just drove to Autobacs to get the job done.

 

I suggest you check with the uncle for the standard pricing he is charging before posting.

Surely I cant question him how he wants to do his business leh. I go there servicing, I ask him how much, he quote a price, I comfortable I go ahead. If he want to charge others different rate, its not me to question him leh. Probably u can let him know "last time" pricing was $XX.

 

I am not related to him in anyway, just a regular customer.

 

But will still post his price after my next visit, next yr, next mth.

U just google for lower pierce reservoir, u will see 3 petrol station in one row, next to each other.

 

This WS is at caltex. I'm a regular there too. Small humble WS

 

I just know the WS that is at mobile station, next to caltex. This WS seem not bad too. Recently went there to change my headlight bulb. Good attitude. Charge $5 to change bulb. I provide bulb. It's a short experience there but I feel the good vibes from this WS.

 

The uncle is local SG guy, with 2 workers. One from MY (I think) and another one from china. Theres another indian worker too.
